Hi all, I have just picked up a very strong SJ410 hard top with my son. All good and tidy, but a rolling project. Used to have them back when they were new and always wanted another. It’s an 83 on an A reg, so metal dash and skinny props etc.
Need a little help on the rear diff seal, I reckon this one is closer to an LJ80 one than what I remember.
Hi all
Re: Hi all
Welcome to the forum! Love an old metal dash 410!
I have responded in your other thread about the diff seal.

Re: Hi all
Thanks. It’s my son’s really (!) he wanted a starter classic to learn about cars so I said an SJ or an Austin A35! We will go through it, but mechanically it seems very good and then get rid of the brushed paint job.
I can find a few bubble holes above the roof gutters, a little on the bottom of the windscreen and very little else. Underneath it is very good, if it has been repaired it has been done very well!
It was silver so it may go back to that for originality …or it could go LR Keswick green, that seems to have our vote at the moment.

That's a good looking SJ! My first one was exactly the same, but I'm pretty sure it was on an "X" plate.
