hi there, this is my SJ

its got 255/75/16 alloys on, not sure what there from?
and ive got a set of re-welded sj rims with big offset, 31/10.5

list of mods done:

SPOA
Pick Upd
Snorkle
Exhaust with a cherry bomb underneath before the stack
twin electric fans( perfect fit but not sure what they are from)

the engine is on 82k and shows it. the crankshaft bearing is shot and valve stem oil seals and piston rings gone so it smokes like a truck lol

Mods to come:
if i cant fix the engine, a 1.5td corsa with manual boost controll will be going in.
if i cant source a 1.5td ill drop another 1.0l in from my mates zook.
rrc seats if they fit.
cb
nice sound system
steering guard
pro comp shocks
prop spacers
a bam bar
a few other things

trust me you won't need the manual boost control.

you will need sammy axels for no other reason than this year i blew 8 front cv's (410 axels).

the 15td transforms it on & off road i never drive it to work if its been raining (to many corners).

by the way nice truck.

first h reg (90 - 91) 410 i have ever seen.

oh is the 1.5td quite pokey then? i thought it was roughly the same power output but much more torque.
who made your conversion plate for you? or did you make it yourself?
does it spin up quite well then? lol

i will be using mine for work, mainly motorway use.


tonight i pulled the engine out to get ready for the rebuild.. its a right mess

theres a really bad knocking sound and slight rattle from the head or bottom end, lots of oil around the crankshaft seals and crankshaft bearings so need new ones.
i also think the piston rings are shot because its smokes like a truck! compression test was ok though so not so sure.

will put the pictures up of removing the engine and the engine part dismantled tomorrow

quick update.

bottom end is shot
head needs a rebuild as its not an old head.
will be dropping another f10a in when my mate sources a 1.5td corsa for his santana
for now ill carry on getting the shell and interior sorted!

quick update.

cleaned up the zuk with my steam diesel washer on saturday ready for work inside and out.

a dirty job but some one has got to do it!

the shell and chassis are rot free which im very happy about.
