Grand Vitara 2007 1.6VVT Headgasket In Situ?

Hi everyone,
I need to replace the head gasket on my motor but the Suzuki workshop guide only has a guide with engine removed.
Is this possible with the engine still in? And if so can anyone give some pointers as to what needs to be removed for access? Radiator? ABS reservoir etc?
On belt engines you can usually slip the belt off the camshaft and not touch the lower part and belt cover but being chain driven I assume I will need to have full access to all the chain with the cover completely off?
