I think the wiring on the SJ is quite basic as it is, you have no ECU to contend with, so it is just your lights (side, main, flasher, stop, tail, reg iluminator) horn, wash/wiper for the legal side of things, altanator is a must then heater, stereo just to make things abit more comfy, and fuel gage is always helpful! and if you want youd dash to light up

Would keep it dry and out of the dirt!
I dont know who, when or on what forum but they had a rear prop break whilst driving, the loom runs under the body along the drive train tunnel, when there prop went bang it took out the loom, leaving them with no rear lights on a very dark night, may be advised to reroute it inside, although that means cutting or finding holes, or along the chassis like the fuel and brake lines.

look, do away with the lights and get a daylight mot, remve the indicators, if they arent fitted you dont need them, fold your wind screen down and the wipers are untestable (as are the screen wash) tada all sorted, the only thing you need is a visable brake light im sure you could make that single cable completely water tight

All cars used in the UK have to by law have at least 2 front and 2 rear lights, wipers and washers.
My car failed the MOT because i forgot to put the water pipe into the the new washers!!!!
