error codes after new fuel pump fitted

following previous post , GV 2ltr TD 2002 running fine on the flat goes into limp mode up steep hills, showing error codes P0220,0243, 0120, 0230, is it possible that an incompatable pump has been fitted. No engine light comes on at any time when running. any ideas?
