Came across this while looking through some old files, its from the original now defunct "4x4 Magazine" not the current renamed one. It does not look like its on the road anymore. Just wondering if there are other LJ50's in the UK. I saw one for sale in Scotland in the AWDC mag 30 years ago but it was a modified trialer with no bodywork, so i'm guessing its long since gone and I was aware of another one in Northallerton (or could it even be the same one in the mag article)?
The magazine article even refers to the LJ80 Register as a thriving club!!!

Re: LJ50 in the UK
Leigh Catherick restored one about 20 years ago. It was imaculate and went to a buyer in South London.
For a guy who's had loads of LJs it was the only LJ50 he's ever seen, and he's always on the lookout for it to have back.
I've never seen one in the UK.
