GV2000 2001 3DR FAT BOY WHEEL CENTRES

Post by Otts » Tue Aug 01, 2017 2:23 pm

Hi Newbie here :D ,

I have a 2001 Y reg, GV2000 3DR SOFT TOP with the Fatboy trim.

I have had the car from new,it's a dream...

Just had a small problem occur, I have got 16" Alaska alloys fitted, which are still like new, but the centre caps
have started dropping off , arrrghhhhh.

The centres are stamped with "COBRA", are 7" in diameter and have two x fixings 140mm centre to centre.
Would anyone know where I get replacements, have tried loads of different wheel shops,EBbay etc..,but not having any luck.

The wheels look ugly as sin without and I'm trying to avoid buying a new set of wheels...

Thanks,
Neil.

Pic of the wheels would be handy.

That's got me stumped. If there are none about at all an option would be to get them made with a 3D printer. Not that expensive, I had a small part made and it cost me £8.

Cheers, have seen one on EBay in the US, $30 for one, and it looks shabby.
Will go with the 3D idea, will let you know how I get on.

Thanks,
Neil...
