I am just buying a Suzuki............that's not the funny bit. Here's the best bit...it's a Celerio. I cannot find a forum for them so I am here.

My first impressions of driving it - this is an auto and they didn't have one to test drive - as soon as I got settled in to it are:
Noise - really substantial noise. It seems like it is tyre noise because some surfaces make it three times worse. Either that or a transaxle is naff. The noise is irritating - it is like a drumming sound. I am not sure I can live with this level of booming. I actually want to wear ear defenders. I have been a passenger in one of these and no way did I get this sort of noise. We have tried laying carpet in the spare wheel recess; bare painted metal is never going to deaden sound. Why on earth didn't Suzuki put in some sound deadening material!!!! It has made no difference whatsoever.
Cramped - it may have headroom for six footers but legroom is awful. I only drove 15 miles to get home and cramp was coming on. I am 6ft 1". And raising the seat makes it worse as the seat moves forward as it goes up. As for the passenger, she said she started to get a numb derriere.
Auto - oh dear. the lag between first and second gear is very disconcerting. If you go to nip into a gap at a roundabout it feels like the engine has momentarily stalled. It may be only about a second but it is very scary when a car is coming at you. It needs to change gear from 1st to 2nd as quickly as I would in a manual box.
In dense traffic the creep function is OK but I find myself unable to feel the throttle. Throttle by wire is possible going to have no feel just like my Xbox foot pedals and is to be expected but it makes me feel as if I want to drive barefoot.
On the plus side the red is gorgeous.

Breakthrough

I have established what is making the majority of the nastier noise. Explaining it will be hard so bear with me. I think it is to do with how airtight the cabin is. At speed like 35+ mph the effect on the ears is like a buffeting combined with the feeling that my ears are popping through altitude. I found that opening a driver window helped because the noise from traffic overruled this noise.

So I tried opening the rear windows a little at speed so as not to get a face full of draught and WOW it came on even worse. Almost painful. So it turns out that opening the front windows helps because it is (possibly) equalising the pressure differential between the outside and the inside of the car. The solution seemed to be to put the heating on so air can get into the car. Apart from buffeting in a convertible with the top down I have never experienced anything like this before.

A retro design of the suzuki whizzkid, not the prettiest of cars to take styling point from thats for sure.
