Afternoon all... I was checking on the ole t'interwebs and came across the fact that suzuki helped design the 800/1000/1200cc motors for the mk1 matiz and they are a cousin to the F series engines... Has anyone ever got the box bolt pattern off one or knows if they fit? ive got a spare 410 box which ill make a cardboard template and go round a scrappy and see if i can find a matiz motor thats been already pulled to compare against. The 1.2 would be good, same tax bracket as the 970cc ive got and a lot more powerful!

1.2 L (1150 cc) 78.0 mm (3.1 in) 53 kW (72 PS; 71 hp) at 5400 rpm 104 N·m (76.7 lbf·ft) at 4400 rpm

issue here is a sammy box is near 400 euro which makes the 1.6 or 1.3 swap not really worth it so if i can find something that fits my current box i might give it a shot.

Cheers

I'd be surprised if he took them over but I remember when twiss done his engine swap he had his 8valver going spare can't remember if he robbed it for bits or sold it though.

Nope no spares here.... the Matiz 800cc engine is similar to the Suzuki F8 , but the 1.0 S-tec and 1.2 are newer and different
