You can likely just set the valve and flaps to the position you need as they are cable operated and put the fan on a switch.

There should be one that went to the hot/cold valve on the bulkhead to the left of the distributor. You could just move that by hand there and see which cable moves in the cab or just leave it in the open position so the heater matrix always stays hot.

The others should just move the flaps on the heater box to move between windscreen/feet and recirculation or external air. If you can see the heater box it should be pretty easy to figure out which does what. Again if these are missing you can probably just move the arms on the heater box to the mode you want and leave it there.

Well it looks like the light green wire on both models feeds the fan. So now you have a choice, either get another fan switch and have different speeds or just a simple on/off switch to whichever resistance/speed setting you would like. Pics of what you have left may be helpful as the earlier 410 is not quite the same.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but as long as the motor black lead is earthed and power (black/white on earlier 410s, Light green on the Vit) is connected via a on/off switch to the blue wire from the fan motor it should run at full speed.

I believe the below photo to be correct for the 410 82-84.

Looks like the 2 wires in your pinkies above. Black to earth, Blue to live.
