Hi folks

New Jinmy is here and some of the under body protection and tow bar I ordered has turned up, will be fitting in earnest this weekend.

BUT !!

Am I missing something, I cant find any underbody front/engine protection plates.
The one fitted is just a plastic spray cover and might protect against leaves but not much more

As I cant find anything ??

1) Are they needed, I have run landrovers and we always fitted a front/under engine guard.
2) Im looking in the wrong place, being going to Jinmybits.
3) Is the Suzuki one any good, doesn't sound promising when descries is as aluminium "effect".

Thanks

Gary

Never ran any sort of guard under the front of my SJ and I've never had any issues.

TBH my experience of the front guards on landrovers is usually that that are just another thing to get hung up on and they usually end up bent anyway.

All I have on mine is a plate under the t/box, just so I don't land on a rock and snap a mount arme again. But it is a bit of a trap for mud and crap

Thanks all, sounds good enough for me.

Already got and planing to fit a front diff , transfer box and fuel tank protection plates so will leave it at that.

Just need to sort our front recover points but without moding the bumper or drilling now.

Thanks Gary
