Uploading images with Imgur

Step 1:

Go to - http://imgur.com/ and sign up for an account.
You can either create an account manually with your email address, or connect via Facebook so you don't have to sign up.
Then you just have to choose a user name!

> Paste from clipboard... if you have already copied an image you can just paste it with CTRL+V (unfortunately I can't get a screenshot of this!)

> Paste a link.... if the image is already on the internet you can right click on it and choose "Copy Image" (or similar) and then paste the copied text into this box with right click > paste or CTRL+V

Step 4:

To view your images, go to your username at the top right of the screen and then go to "Images". You should then see all of your uploaded pics!

Click the image you want, and then it will pop up! You will see to the right various links.... the one you want is BBCODE as shown below

Step 5:

Copy the text and paste it into your Suzuki Club UK post! It will look like this:

Code: Select all

and when you finish the post it will look like this!

PS. If you use the Imgur mobile app on your phone, images are automatically added to Imgur. This way you can skip to step 4 right away!

Uploading Images with Drop Box

First you need to click here and log in to create a public folder:

https://www.dropbox.com/enable_public_folder

You will then be sent an email you have to open, then click on the link to verify your email address.
Once done, you will be able to see the public folder in your drop box. Put the pics in there.

Then access your drop box via dropbox.com, go into the public folder, right click on the image you want to post and choose "Copy Public Link" which will look something like this:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/197 ... 5555_n.jpg

All you have to do is paste that link into your suzuki club post, highlight it, then press the "Img" button!

Then it should look like this in the editor

Code: Select all

[img]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/197413679/12165_10152654477410122_105735555_n.jpg[/img]
Which looks like this when you view it!

Et voila!

I prefer using photobucket. Upload pics and then just click the IMG code to copy it. Paste straight into the post and jobs a good'un
