Suzuki intruder

Post by Cathal27 » Sun Jun 05, 2016 8:38 pm

Hi all I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I have a question about my Suzuki intruder m800 (2008). The needle on the speedo keeps jumping round the clock and turning itself on and off? Some days it works fine and others it doesnt. I think it might be a damp issue cause the shed I keep it in has some damp in it. Have any of you guys ever had this issue or ever heard of this happening?

Hi mate, this is the suzuki 4X4 forum. Think you might be better off asking on a motorbike forum. Good luck.

If its an electronic speedo, could be a dodgy ground from the back of the panel.. If its cable operated then the damp could of made the internal wire rusty.. WD40 down the wire follwed by some axle grease might help.
