215 70 r15???

Hi all, Ive been hunting around for a new set of rubber, at present i have camac terra's which are 255/75 r15 on wellers, these are too wide for the what im going to use them for plus they stick out of the arch's quite a bit which is illegal, and there hot on this kinda stuff in london!!

I dont want to fit extensions on the arch's as it will only pull attention driving around and i dont really like them(more that usual lol) and the terrain im using the zook on will not need such wide tyres but still a decent amount of grip in the mud.

Ive been recomended to fit 215, 70 r15 which will fit on my wellers and wont stick out of the arch's. the camac's are in good condition so I will sell these on ebay to subsidise the cost of a new/second hand decent set

Im after the cheapest set of mud/all terrain that will handle well on and off road and not break the bank!

Any recomendations??

Luke

The tires on it are worth nothing, they are renown for being pretty rubbish in the thick stuff!

Cheap set of Diamond backs would do you i would have thought.

Or if you have some money lying about, a sef of BFG A/T's. These will do loads of miles and handle ok in the thick stuff.

Join the Que

I had a set of 5, on matching vit rims, As new cond.

I wanted £25 for them (£5 a tire and rim) And no one wanted them, they where on Ebay twice and i think they are still on the difflock adds.

But seriously, to save yourself all this mythor, just fit some arch extensions.. Get an old bin, barrel what ever you want.. rivet them underneath the arches and be legal.

It will save you a bucket load, and you cn still have your tires and rims.

Ive been scouting around looking yet again and have found these made by kingpin, they seem like a good tyre, nice tread pattern and at only 29 quid a tyre isnt too badly priced either

What do people think of these??

Not bad, just watch the Vat. I would also say that if they are remoulds then check that they are the size they claim to be and also check mould quality even tho they will be E marked.
