HI THERE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS I'D BE VERY APPRECIATED! I'M LOOKING AT BUYING A WHOLE SET UP OF A JIMNY! WOULD I BE ABLE TO SWAP MY 410 AXLES FOR THE JIMNY'S AND MY PROPS AND EVERYTHING WOULD FIT STRAIGHT TO IT'S? SINCE I WAS ASKING ALL OF YOU'S ABOUT MAKING MY SJ MORE COMFORTABLE I COME ACROSS THIS WITH THE COIL SPRINGS THE FELLA SAYS EVERYTHING IS THERE TO CONVERT A SJ BUT JUST WONDERING WETHER MY PROPS WOULD FIT ONTO IT AND ALSO I'D NEED JIMNY WHEELS WOULD I? OR CAN THE SJ WHEEL FIT ON?
AS I SAY ANY INFO IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hi tom,
the jimnys run coils front and rear with radius arms front and rear.
Like any axle conversion you will have to mount new mounts for the springs and also the radius arms. I will have a look on the forums since I'm bed ridden
And also an important question what exactly are you buying and for how much? You can pick up a standard jimny with reasonable milage for under £1000. Then you can swap your rims over and have a mud plugger on coils

YE I'VE SAW THEM, IS IT A HARD JOB DOING THE MOUNTS? AND DECENT MATE IF YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING IT'D BE APPRECIATED!
I'M LOOKING AT BUYING A JIMNY CHASIS WITH ALL THE COILS RADIUS ARMS AND BOTH AXLES.
THE FELLA IS SAYING ALL I'D NEED TO DO IS CUT THE BRACKET TRAYS FOR THE COILS OFF THE CHASIS AND MOUNT THEM ONTO MY SJ410 CHASIS AND IT WILL ALL FIT SOUND...WOULD IT? I'M LOOKING TOWARDS THE £200 FOR THE WHOLE LOT...
I'M NOT TOO SURE WETHER MY SJ WHEEL WILL FIT ONTO THE JIMNY WHEEL STUDS WILL THEY? HE SAYS THEY WILL AND ALL MY PROPS THAT ARE FITTED TO MY AXLES NOW WILL FIT THEM AXLES...
AS I SAY ANY/ALL REPLIES ARE ALL APPRECIATED!
BEST REGARDS,

Rims will certainly fit.
Unsure of propshafts but you can easily make them fit by re drilling
I would also be weary of the fact that your 410 chassis will be much narrower than a jimny chassis. Still by far the easiest conversion is with sammy axles under your 410.
Have a look of this, has some pics/ info on jimny chasis and what can be done with them.
