Hi, I'm currently trawling the internet looking for help but found this place...
I (finally) passed my driving test last year and now can drive my beautiful 03 Grand Vitara which is my 1st and my own personal dream car. I love it, I've not seen any other car Id even consider swapping it for, even more modern ones with all the modern comforts. She's slow and heavy and got a big bum but she's my baby. I'm so small I can actually camp in the back, I've even made her (yes. my vitaras a girl) curtains, mattress, cushions and matching throws. Yes. I'm girl too. a old one.

But she's not very well and its been repeated suggested to me that I get rid/scrap or sell her which I don't want to do, think I'd rather have no car than loose mine so I'm going to go a make a help post in the electrics section.....

Welcome to the forum, my wife used to have a grand vitara, she loved it although she didn't love taking it to the petrol station, in the end we had to get rid as it wasn't big enough for our family but she did enjoy owning it!

Welcome to the forum, you mention that you have all the back fitted out for the odd nights sleeping in the back of the truck, have you added any electrical items in the back to make yourself more comfortable and that could be causing the possible electrical problem that you are having.Of course this is just a suggestion that maybe over looked, but could be miles away from what the original electrical problem is.

No, no electrics, just soft furnishings.... :)
