Hi all,

Aint posted in ages, how you all doing?

I got fed up with the crap stock lights, even after re-wiring and putting 100W bulbs in... so i got some Daymakers off ebay. Bit pricey but soooo worth it!! I thought they were gonna be a pain to install but they fit the original mounts and take a H4 connector so fitting was 20 mins. They are so bright, bit like some of the newer mercs with them damn bright blueish HID's .. but they have a very straight cut off on the beam pattern and do not blind anyone till you put the high beam on :) .. They are also E marked so should be good in the uk, here they dont give a crap as long as something lights up when u flick the switch.

Pics!! (the led ring is my diy job - led strip silicone sealed to the ring fitment not the headlight wired into the sidelights)

I've been considering these for a while. Can you let me know how they go in terms of reliability. There's always the risk wig these expensive fittings that they will just break. Got a link for them?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371504408507? ... EBIDX%3AIT

But you can find them on chinese sites like dx.com and banggood.com etc...

They are V heavy, a solid lump of ally on the back, and pretty well made.. so far ive used them for about 6 hours total and they are awesome. The only mod i think im gonna do to them, is they come with ballast blocks for some reason that are full of capicitors, and these are NOT waterproof.. so im gonna silicone seal em for safety. The actual light is sealed tight tho. Highly Recommend!
