bump stops

Post by woodbutcher » Thu Dec 31, 2015 1:56 pm

hi there can anyone help me with bump stop heights please? i have had my sj413 for around 18 months and when i got it it already had spoa done to it but the person who done it took the bump stops off and now i think my springs have had it as i get lots of banging going on at the rear end, i will replace the springs but would like to put bump stops back on and wandered what the distance should be from bottom of bump stop to axle? any help would be great thanks.

Flex up the spring either using a big jack or a hoist... until they are flat...
and then put the bumpstop there. unfortunately it is different depending on the suspension
