wobbly speedo

Post by andyrew » Sat Nov 28, 2015 11:04 pm

Ive got a samurai with a very jumpy/ wobbly speedo
Needle. Its all over the show.

Anyone else had this before?

Im wondering if the cabe is stiff and possibly snagging
Inside its sleeve.

Will either be that or even snapped but still catching the other half of the cable.

I think a kinked cable can do that too. One way or another, it does sound like the speedo cable though.

Well i think i found the problem.

Looks like a new speedo cable has been fitted and
Someone has routed it in the most awkward and random
Manner.
