Need some advice

Took my 1990 413 to a event this weekend and noticed a huge lack in power when truck is in 4x4 high on transfer box. in 2wd she was a dream and blast around with no issues but on any incline in 4high she just would not have enough grunt and cause herself to bog out.

she has the SU carb upgrage and is running 29'' tyres. snorkel fitted which i am thinking maybe the cause ( starving for air ) possible or carb tuning needed.

on the road she is nippy and drives fine. any pointers would be a help

When you say fine in 2H but bogging in 4H do you mean over similar inclines as thats what ypur description suggests? The gearing is exactly the same in 2H or 4H so that suggests to me something is binding or tight on the front transmission somewhere.
