Got a bit more done over the bank holiday, fitted hinges and latches to the back and sides, also grafted the embossed suzuki from the old tailgate onto the new one, then painted and fitted the back and sides.

My 86 doesn't have that embossed logo.

Thanks mate, going to put the wheels from my hardtop on, there 235/75/15 so should hopefully fill the archs a bit better

Good work on the tailgate! Very neat, maybe you could colour the letters in white?

Got a bit more done in between work. Got a new front wing, painted and fitted that, welded the front bumper brackets on and re-fitted the bumper. Also got some black vinyl for the suzuki lettering on the rear tailgate and put the 5 speed badge back on, along with the new number plates.
