Hi all. I have been looking at the Llama 4x4 web site and i am interested in
their "Potty lift springs". Has anybody on here had any experience of them :?:

Also as the KJA is so light on the back i was thinking of the 2 leaf, 3" lift ones.
The question is which ones for the front. :er: I want maximum flex but i have
a heavy homemade winch bumper and a good size winch. I am thinking this would
probably be too much for the 2 leaf ones or can somebody shed some light on the
subject before i spend money on something that don't work. :bawling:
Regards Allan.

I am running the +2" 3 leaf ones on the front of mine and they are quite good. More comfortable than the standard springs, and cope well with the weight of my heavy front bumper.
Personally with the weight of the engine as well I would probably go for the 3 leaf ones

Thanks for that. If i go for the 3 leaf +3" ones at the front
will i have to change/adjust other parts? Already have +2" shocks. 8-)

The springs I had were slightly longer than the standard ones, not a bad thing as it means that they flex a bit better.
Had to make up some shackles that were slightly longer than the standard ones to keep the right shackle angle.... not huge fang shackles, just a teeny bit longer

Dave at llama is a top bloke. Very pleasant and honest
Trader. Highly recommend.

You may find he won't recommend the potty springs
Due to the way springs sag on sjs. Hes currently
Helping me regarding one of my stock height springs
that has a bend/kink in it.

I'm pretty sure that the KJA springs are longer than the SWB springs, they are certainly harder because they are intended to carry up to 1/2 tonne.

Thats something i did not think about. When you say longer are we talking just a tad
or standard sj fitment springs dont fit :?: :er:

I think SWB springs will fit if you use extended shackles, I don't recall the difference I thinks its an inch or two.

The springs are the same length, the rear shackle mount is just 10mm further forwards to steepen the shackle angle.
