got a 1.3 engine and it has an intermited wering sound does not get louder with revs and comes and goes. Some have said it may be cambelt too tight so will slacken it off tomorrow and see.

Any one had anything similar ? Another suggestion was clutch release bearing, brand new but could be dodgy etc.

Not what i planned to have 2 weeks before we leave for the rally.

My can belt cover is loose and makes A few odd noises. Could be that?

Will pop the cover off today and see what I can see.
