Water leaking on Passenger side

Post by courior » Sat Mar 28, 2015 5:06 pm

Hi all.

Got this rain water leak on the passenger side but just cant figure out where the heck its coming from.. it even gets inside the glove box through the split of bottom to top half (old skool circle vent dash)... Ive sealed around the window hinge (this solved it for the drivers side) and the window surround is dry so not from the window... number one on my hit list is the area where the fold down window would seal on the bulkhead but on the side where the door touches. Anywhere else to look?

Cheers

Check the plastic drains from the grill on the scuttle panel to the bulkhead in the engine bay arent blocked up.

He's already cleaned them both out and made a cover for the scuttle vent

screw that... ill just silicone seal the glove box and put more sealant where i think it might be leaking and hope... or.. when it stops raining i will use a hose pipe and direct water in different places till i re-produce the leak.

Did all that on my old one, even had the dash out, me in the driver seat, mate in the passenger seat and another mate with the hose pipe outside and still never found where the water was coming in :er: :argh:
