LJ80 replacement soft top manufacturer UK?

Post by SteveD » Wed Feb 04, 2015 8:19 am

Anyone have a lead to a good (preferably reasonably priced) source for replacement soft top for my lj80? I have a top that could be used as a template if necessary. I am looking for someone who can make the top with zip-out side and rear window panels (this was not a feature on the original tops, but is available from Bestop for later models, but unfortunately not for the LJ80.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Of course, I would be open to offers from anyone who has a soft top in good condition (preferably white, but black OK too).

Steve

I'm pretty sure these guys make LJ80 soft tops, I think some of the raging rhinos use them, not sure how much they cost though.

I have a brand new one (no fasteners or pop studs fitted). I might let it go to for the right price.
If it ticks over...leave it

Message for donkeychomp - sorry but I can't send private messages yet.

If you could shoot me a picture and a price, that would be great.

Thanks for the help. I wrote to mastercovers to ask, even though their site seems totally focused on marine work. But canvas work is canvas work...

I know that they have made them for others so they should have templates.

That's good news. I emailed them - let's see what they say. If I don't hear in a couple of days, I'll give them a call. Thanks.
