A question about altering my Vitara LWB into the odd weekend

Require some help or suggestion regarding using my Vitara LWB for the odd weekend camper,i have most of the items that i require for using my Vitara for say Bank holidays away, have the cooking and washing and all the bedding sorted out,but one thing i still cannot work out is how to either totally cut out the light at night or reduce it in some way through the windows.
Its a reliable working truck and i dont want to spend horrendous amounts of money on high end window tinting that type of thing, more on the lines of say temporary blinds,it will be usede mainly for long bank holiday rallies during the summer, but as we are all aware it gets light very early say 3.30am and light fades about 10.30pm,so does anyone have any suggestions on a temporary measure to block out some light to give me some privacy and another problem is i am light sleeper anyway while the nights are short.
Any suggestions please, its just this one thing that i cannot grasp on how to do,all the other camping equipment i have and it does work well in the truck.
Rick

Thing is you are not the only one that has suggested those blinker thingies,so prehaps its not a stupid method, the stick on window tint method was my favourite option only trouble is its semi permenent and my other half just dont like the stuff when she is driving,so basically i have had to go back to the drawing board minus the tinted windows.
I may end using some of these summer blinds that stick on with suction pads that type of thing or a temporary curtain arrangemet,if all else fails the horse blinker option may be the last resort and certainly the cheapest

Ha ha, i won't make any wise cracks about geographical stereotypes.
Curtains? If you don't mind a a rail and a few self tappers, lol.
Sure you could fix some kind of net curtain wire up. Be multi-purpose too, use for hanging damp towels on. Lol.
Depends how red neck you want it to be.
Pre cut corrugated card panels. Blocks light and is rigid enough to wedge in and packs down flat out if the way.

At wagtail I wrapped my tin top rear in a tarpaulin over and
Around the car.Gave some privacy but also keeps the light out.
Im guessing you sleep in the rear of the car?
Id do something like removable panels.
Make some templates of the windows and make
Some hardboard blanks. Then they could be removed and stored
Away. Could possibly attach them with window
Suckers or velcro maybe?
Cheap n cheerful

Problem is all sorted out, bought a product called 'Magic Blackout Blind' from Evilbay for £22 its a static based stick on type of blind that you can re-use again and again, you can cut it to the various shapes of the windows on the Vitara and it takes seconds to put up.
No problems of make shift curtains and certainly a 1000 times better than a blindfold
Thanks for all the suggestions, will update on how it all performs, that was basically all i had left to do was the window blackout, only thing left to possible buy is one of these roll up special expanded foam mattress thingies that contour your body, but may just stick with the sleeping bag.
All systems go for 'Vitara Weekends Away' have everything sorted out including a small thinder box just incase and a self contained kitchin/cooking setup.

My mate "mad lada tony" bought a trailer tent that was basically ruined in every possible way, but had a detachable camping kitchen with hob, sink, running water, cupboards etc - just for the kitchen.
So whenever we go camping with the hilux boys (it's been a few years for me now) he just pops the whole thing on the back of his Rav 4 and off he goes. When he gets to the campsite, he pulls the kitchen out and sleeps in the Rav 4. Works really well, I can't see why it wouldn't work for you too!
