Hi group, just a quick question. My Jimny’s oil dipstick handle has snapped off & I need a replacement, my local scrapper doesn't have any Jimny’s in, will I be able to get one from another Suzuki, ie did they use the Jimny 1.3L petrol engine in any other model.
Kind regards Otto, West Cumbria

What year? jimny's have used two different engines, there are other suzuki models that use both engines however the sumps might be a different shape and therefore the dipstick might not be the same length.

Its on a 2005 plate, but I've noticed that the wifes 2008 Jimny dipstick is breaking in the same place, so looks like I'm going to need 2.

That will be an M13 engine - its a common problem. The M13 was also used in the Swift but I think the dipstick is unique to the Jimny.
