Hi all.

Im looking for some new parts and i got some prices from a local Maruti specialist. These are genuine new Maruti parts. Are the prices ok?

Front left wheel bearing and axle seals = €19
Front Disc = €35 each
Front Pads = €20 for the pair

Im new to the this kind of car. These prices look very good i think. Can you guys let me know if they would be cheaper in uk (im coming over next week so could pick them up).

Cheers,

Courior

EDIT: Topic should of been Price OF Parts .. my bad, can an admin re-name it? or leave it if its not deemed important. Cheers

Hi Mate,

I think your brake calipers will probably be different. Was talking to Scottie last night and his Maruti has different calipers to our Spanish or Japanese ones. Bring a pad with you if you can.
The brake discs will probably be the same though.

Pads are normally about £15
Discs are about £30 each
and I think I normally get my front bearing kits for about £25

Whereabouts in the UK will you be? If its down south might be able to help you out with some bits!

Have a look at these...
If they are the same as what you have I ordered a set by mistake. If you are around my area you can come take them before they get lost in the garage ;)

Cheers lads for the help!

The parts guy did request i take an old pad for verification. My prices were in Euros so cpmared to her majesty's money parts prices i think im getting a pretty good price! even better than ebay! (postage here for heavy lumps of metal is expensive lol )

I will be staying in the south london area, but i think im going to get the parts from here as then i will at least get some warranty/can change them if they dont fit perfectly.

At heart im a biker (Suzuki Bandit 1200), so i will be paying a visit to my old watering hole, The Ace Cafe London on Friday 18th with some old biker mates.. If you guys are around would be great to have bit of a chin wag and see some modded zuki's!

Well Im from close to Brighton but the Ace cafe isn't too far away... if you're there like 6pm or later I might be able to pop up.... not in the zook though as its still living in the garage til the MOT is done! :)
Lwt me know about those pads though, like I say you can have them for nothing if they fit!
Otherwise they will just go in the bin ;)

If you want to bring them ill happily pay for a couple of beers mate. Don't like taking things for nothing :)
Shame you cant make it in the Suzuki! that would of been awesome... If i get round to taking the pads out before i go on holiday ill take a proper picture for reference to be super sure on the fit.

Cheers!!

Hahaha maybe... but my tester down here is rather forgiving when it comes to stuff like emissions ;)

If I remember correctly something about hooking up his Fiesta for the emissions...I could be wrong...
