Hi guys I'm setting up my lowline winch on my a sj and was wondering if the standard 45amp alternator would be ok?

Mine was fine, as long as you are not using it constantly and running extra lights at the same time it should be OK.

Ok thanks, do you run a winch on yours? Also need a recommendation on battery size?

I had a winch (9000 lbs) on my old SJ, the one in my avatar. Just had a standard but new battery in it. When I used the winch I'd sit in the car and keep the revs up, but I never had any problems at all. And I had 6 extra lights too!
