Suggestions on sorting this out...

The Yaris that some of you have seen me in is my mums. She's a disabled little old lady.
I bought her a holiday to Romania (she's very interested in their culture and she's learning the language, and she's got friends out there to stay with) and after dropping her off in Luton, parked up her car outside her house.
Then this:
To the asshat that did it and ran: Thanks. You're a wonderful human being, mashing up a little old disabled pensioner's car and then running away like a true hero.
To the rest of you - I have 2 weeks before she's back (12th) so should I sand it, fill it, sculpt it, then find someone to paint match or should I find a crashed damaged Yaris, cut that out and cut out a similar piece, weld in new metal, then have that paint matched?
The bumper is also a bit mangled, but I think I can sort that out with fibreglass from the inside out.
I'll tell her about it when she gets back, but I'm not going to ruin her holiday. This is the first holiday she's had in about 20 years. I want this sorted out before she returns, get it in a state where she'd never know, *then* tell her (I'm not into keeping secrets from her about her own car!).
I'm thinking of getting a new bit of metal to weld in because I'm not sure I can get the wheel arch's stock toyota "crease" to look factory with filler.
What would you lot do?
