As some of you will know I've been fitting YJ & Navara springs on my SJ for what feels like for ever, due to breaking a rear spring at the end of last year.
The job just takes you from one issues to another.
When I thought I was finished, and go out for a play, a tyre lets go.
No worries, time to put the 31's on. They foul on the front springs at full lock.
Temporarily borrow spacers from Son's SJ. Tyres catch on the front wings now, and stick out way to far to keep Mr Plod happy.
Time for a VL and fit some plus 50mm defender arches.
Arches catch, so a hunk of trimming needed.
Looking good. I will worry about the rear another day. Lets pop to the shop to see how it goes.
Mmmmm steering feels heavy on the way home.
Park in the drive, lift the bonnet, power steering fluid eveywhere!!
Shut the bonnet, come inside, eat my sandwich, vent my spleen on here, before going out and torching it!!
Well that might be a bit harsh, but bloody hell. Another fcuking job to sort before I can play out again!!!
