i have been doing a bit to my suzuki, i sorted the steering issue by changing the caster angle, all the missing links are now on and my rockbucket from mr rockwatt :)

but here it is, i managed to get it out the garage, i flexed it up but the front bump stops arnt long enough, so i have that to do, when i flexed it up i also noticed that the rear spings didnt flex that much, hense there will be a lot more flex if i can stop it from lifting the rear wheels and START flexing the rear springs !

but anyway here it is:

the shocks and brake lines are ordered (thanks to dave at llama 4x4)

so when there here i can really crack on, cage, winch wiring, tidy up all the wiring and paint it again underneath, then get it muddy !

hello !

been busy at work and breaking suzuki's, so havent had much time to do work on my suzuki !!

i left the igntion on for three weeks, which fried the fuel pump, so i had to buy another one of them !

and also made a major mess up on the diff flanges !! had some large flange sj ones machined to fit landcruiser props, and then remembered i have vitara diffs !! and the splines are differernt in terms of the thread pitch. so i have to have more done now. but will hope to get them off today and machined tomorrow.

other than this prop issue, and the fuel pump problem. all that is left is the roll cage, which has been blasted and painted, just needs to be welded on. but i dont fancy putting it on with juts me and my dad as i dont want to mess the paintwork up !!! lol

but anyway i am going to try and get on and get it done for the awdc event in wales. thats if i dont keep changing my mind with what i am doing with it.

i am going to try and keep this thread more current so il be adding pics this week of the progress, if there is any !!!

mike :)

cheers mate,

its anoying being so close, but every things differant !! thats what happens when you modify evrything, turns into a right pain. its all the silly little things which should take a few minutes to do but take hours !! liek mounting the power steering resovoir, took me like and hour and a half lol !!
