Darrell, you are an automotive messiah. That bearing in the second diagram is the one I need. Is the number on the left the Suzuki part number?

Anyway, thanks a million.

Yes that's the number 09269-33001
Cheapest I could find doing a "Google" http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/release ... 29!60.html

I believe the clutch is the same so hopefully just the right bearing will sort it.
Does somebody know for sure :er: :er: .

The clutch itself should be the same however have you checked that the gearbox input shafts are the same length.

There are two types of spigot bearings on the 410.

On the early one (like yours will be I imagine??) the spigot bearing is in the end of the crankshaft so the input shaft is longer.

On the later 410s it is mounted in the flywheel and the input shaft is shorter.

I would imagine the 5speed box has the shorter input shaft. If this is the case you are going to need to fit a spigot bearing to your existing flywheel or just get a flywheel off a later 410.

Good info there Scott  . Just had a look at some diagrams and your spot on with the different bearings.

Does the later bearing fit straight into the early 410 flywheel. If so, really easy fix.

Dad's not going to like this news. Don't suppose anyone's got part numbers for the spigot bearing and the later type flywheel.

Might be worth making a sticky about this gearbox change, not from this post but an abridged write-up. There's one for mating a 1.6 Vitara engine to samurai gearbox I think.

I've just gotten off the talk-box to my ol' pappy. He's not too impressed that I've 'missed' another part.

What would you guys recommend? Change of flywheel and bearing, or will a bearing go in my current flywheel? Anyone got the bits I need?

The pilot bearing is part number 08133-62007
The size is 10mm x 30mm x 9mm
The bearing can be brought from any bearing dealer as a 6200 2rsr (2 rubber seals)
Your have to see if your flywheel can take this bearing first.

Thanks Darrell, I'll forward this to my Dad. Does anyone know if this will go into my flywheel, or do I need a later 410 flywheel?
