At the moment I only have the carcassing timber and OSB for the roof here which came from a builders merchants.

I came home from work today all excited about starting on the frame.

I actually managed to cut down some overhanging shrubbery and make a load of calculations.

Front frame built........

Shortly followed by a realisation of how big it's going to be!!!!

Good job we have 5 street lights that shine into our rear garden so I can work late

Tidy. Its gonna be a lot higher than i thought. Having a pitched roof?

Thats why the front is high. Single pitch down to the rear.

2.3m at the front down to 2m at the rear.

And a longe that doesn't resemble a timber merchants or a spare room that looks like a Suzuki parts department.

I've deliberately designed or so there will be a bench under the window long enough for a whole axle.

Had a load of mates round yesterday and got the frame completely finished apart from edging on the roof joists and the 2 side timbers for the roof that will overhang the sides.

Its quite big and I cant wait to get it finished so I can get in there and :weld:
