Ah, so the rear (which may have the bits that are sammy compatible) aren't high pignon?

Shame, never mind. Maybe instead, Mike should just get a set of C303 axles... :brows:

Yeh jimny parts are made from davidstowe cheese. Taste nice, not to good when running boggers !!

No panic, il run the same as before, just stronger.

If these break well il be on the look out for something mad, and il sell all my axles and spares I have for them too.

Just read the last few pages for a bit of catch. Looks like you'll be having a mega weld-a-thon on that front axle.

Adding weight below the vehicles centre of gravity isn't necessarily a bad thing, though...

And it's not a heap of weight. It'd probably ride a little bit more crap on the road, but yours is not for such misadventures - yours is for the mud, where zuks belong...

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Hello,

Sorry erm not much to update really, been busy with work.

Rear winch is all welded in now. Just needs painting and wiring up and a second battery fitting.

Old front axle is out, cut all the old trusses and diff guards of it, new axle mocked up with new saddle and trusses, just tacked into place for now. Little bit of mucking about to make the of side truss fit in the bottom, as its so short and has to wrap around the Rockwatt knuckle gussets. Which is proving to be a bit tricky.

Should get some time weekend after next to do some more, it's time I need and there's not enough of it !!

Still need to get some side gears to do my diff with, I have had my diff builder build suzuki diffs for other people and not had my own done yet !!

But anyway, onwards and upwards lads :)
