well the mot was a fail on afew little things

front discs were pitted pretty badly as it had been stood for a while
rear damper was loose
hand brake wanted adjusting
emissions
and there is a small rust hole in each sill :/

also while swapping tyres over the other day i noticed who ever fitted my road tyres fecked up my wheel stud extensions and some of my nuts

so this weekend ive sorted the damper, hand brake, front discs, ordered a welding mask a bunch of new stud extensions and a set of wheel nuts

and the mot guy said he'll sort my emissions out for me ;)

not much progress has been made

but i've got my window de-mist vents re-attached and the speedo cable re routed so it might work now

also got the drivers side air vent re-attached at the same time and wired in my sat nav wire permanently after i broke the fag socket plug some how, a new ignition coil is on its way so might help it with emissions a bit and ive got all the welding the mot man said it needed and then some more . . . a 5cm square plate turned into 13 inch by 13 cm

had to drill a hole in the lowest point of my snorkel after the mad rain recently and im glad i did

got a new rear section of exhaust made up with removable tips just in-case i squish one when im playing, plus it sounds alot better than the drift cannon i had there before

oh and ive fixed the cover behind the steering wheel too ;)

:er: Isn't that defeating the point of a snorkel now?

forgot to say

i put a screw with a rubber washer in the hole to act as a drain plug so i can let any water out of it that gets in there before i use it

You could install a one-way valve in the hole so that water can drain out but not get back in.

Or a ball valve so you can just leave it open when not using.it.

Best solution would be to get a better snorkle top though. :D

i think i might just be disconnecting the snorkel when not in use .... especially when it starts freezing again . . . last time the filter on the snorkel actually froze up on the motorway
