Once it was so muddy, and pissing down with rain that i resorted to "washing" the car in the rain before the guy showed up... didn't work so well
The AA have brought you to off road weekends before. Never mind took you home after.

I think I might make a regular thing of it... fill the tank up at home, break down shortly after, AA tow to destination, then theres a full tank for laning haha
I've only done that once though haven't I? All other times I've arrived with the truck under its own power

Might have to fab one up before I take her offroad, no idea how to go about it though, flat bar might be a good start to make a frame and then build from that...

Yea check my build thread. I made one out of 3mm sheet steel to say its heavy duty is an understatement!! Only 1 prob with it... I got the position of one of the mounting holes in the wrong place I think. So I never fitted. I've recently aquired a new tank so will sit it in the guard and figure it out at some point.
The plan I found on difflock I think was from a French site originally of I remember correctly, was designed to be folded up from 1 sheet of steel.. I bought a sheet big enough and cut all the sides out separately and the welded them together
if in doubt, FLAT OUT!

However we might be able to do another meet elsewhere at some point. I would like to head up to Korc but that could be more just a meet at one of their bank holiday weekenders rather than an 'SCUK meet'
Yes Scottie, the Kirton weekender is a must next year for anyone who can make the journey , I totally love this site! aiming to get ours back up the for may bank holiday weekend , thou hope to see Richard over Xmas break so i may just have to go for a play in Zero.
