Might be worth using the leccy fan if you've still got it?
I use a 14" fan, but as one failed on me the other day, get a decent leccy fan not an ebay special ;)

It was a 14 " eBay special. I may give it a try again now it's all bled correctly now. If not ill buy a decent on as I certainly noticed the fuel consumption and sluggishness having the viscous on permenant

Yeah it will! Its quite a bit more resistance for the engine to push the fan round!

Hot Bob did you notice if number two plug did anything with the lead off after you replaced the gasket ? . Mine is doing the same on engine number two . I changed the engine because I thought number two was knackered . Do you think it could of been the timing which you corrected when refitting the head ? Cheers
