started to make the base of the rear hoop for the cage today as i should be getting it bent up tomorrow.

just got to make up a fat washer to go under the mounts for the bolts

Is that bolting in to the rear seat front mounting holes?

no,thats the body mounts,the rear stays will be bolted to the chassis with poly bush's to stop any vibs,the front 2 hoops will be bolted to the rock sliders also on poly bush's,abit like this

got the rear bit of the cage bent up today,just need to weld it all up

sorted my crank pully and welded up the rear part of the cage today

got the cage in today and done a bit of routine maintenance,looks like i need new rear shoe's this time :twisted: also put a wheel up in the back to see where is best to put a spare and i think putting it on the floor in the back is the best option but only if i stay with 35's :roll:

It'd look the coolest if you had it in the slanted position across the back, maybe higher up so you could keep the tailgate, but that's also the least practical. I think upright against the back of the cab, or upright front-to-back against the cage will be the best.
