Bit of an update, this wasn’t in the plan but what you going do. The body is of the chassis, turns it really wasn’t that hard to do and am happy I did as I can give it all a good going over. Only one little patch of rust that I didn’t know about and that’s right next to a body mount. Any way a couple of pics, nothing exciting

Is this going to be kept as standard Robbie? Either way it's going to be a great truck!

Looking good. I am hoping to get to this stage soon. Was the body heavy to lift off? Did it take many people? I'm thinking of suspending it from the roof of the garage to give me room to work.

Alex yes mate, I did think of a monster like you have but when I saw it in the flesh, I knew it had to be standard
Joe I did the front on my own and two to lift the body, was so much easier than I expected

Been nearly a year, but stuff is slowly progressing. The chassis was thick with crap so I had it sand blasted and primed, then I put stone chip on. Can’t find any pics of it other than this sneak preview of the colour I’m going for

Going to get the underside of the tub blasted to get rid of the years of underseal, wax oil, dirt and oil from the leaks from the engine Aiming to get it as a rolling chassis before the summer, so I’ve been cleaning, removing rust and painting all the bolt on parts. So that’s it. Will try to keep on and put up more updates as i go

I had an oddly specific dream about this old truck recently, im glad your enjoying working on it still. I'd love to see where your up to with it if you've made any more progress

Hello John it’s been a bit slow but she looks a lot different. The chassis was sand blasted, primed, stone chip applied and final paint on. All the mechanicals were given a once over, all the dit removed she lost some weight there
I got a LJ front axle to replace the 410 one. Both axles, props, leaf springs and steering arms all striped rebuilt painted.
All that is now together on wheels and waiting for me to get the body done and on. I think really I should get some pics up to prove I have done some work really
