Right, front axles fucked.
Cvs both exploded, shafts cv end completely fucked as well.
Side gears in the locker cracked.
This is expensive lads, not sure what to do now.
Oh and the front axle is bent to fuck as well, that's what's done all this damage.

Ouch
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Was there no chance of warranty covering the shafts and CVs then Mike? can't actually believe you managed to do all that in one day or should it be as you must've been pushing the SJ to its limits

What a mess, basically we where being very hard on it, the pictures don't really show the types of things we where doing. We where going for a punch down a steep slope, with about a 4ft drop. My mate was driving. Suzuki was nose down, all the weight on the front axle, on hard full right hand lock. My mate booted it. Then about 3 mins later it went bang, then no front wheel drive at all. Got recovered. Went home, and found this.
Spoke to trail gear and low range, nothing they can do. They have offered me full sponsorship discount, but there still criperlingly expensive.
This damage will cost me close to £1000 to fix. My diff builder is inspecting the diff this week, but I know the side gears are to bad to re use.
Need to have a serious think weather I carry on now, this is all getting a bit out of hand.
