Hi new to the site and looking for help with a Goka 1100 with a Suzuki engine can you help

Just bought a new Vitara 1.6 diesel. DPF warning light on after 150km. Dealer advise me to drive at over 2000 rpm for approx 10 minutes to regenerate DPF. This did the trick. Surely DPF should not need this action so soon.

Sounds right, my daughter had a ds3 which if not driven enough would do it and that was the same advise. And

Exactly what Robbie said. If they are only driven around towns and on short journeys the dpf doesn't get hot enough to burn the crud off.
