so yesterday I started to build the box for the boot, just a 21" high wall and a parcel shelf sitting 19" from the boot floor, that gives me a 2" lip so that if i have anything on the parcel shelf it wont come flying at me when i brake...

today i cut two holes in the parcel shelf for my 6x9's and a hole in the wall for my 10" sub and wrapped the parcel shelf and the front face of the wall...
also got my voltmeter wired in and my cd player and amplifier wired up and working, just need a way of having my sub working aswel, i have wired the 2 6x9's into the 2 channel amplifier but need to bridge the sub, is there any way of having my 2 6x9's wired in stereo and the sub bridged mono on the same amp?
anyhow, here are the pics...

thanks mate...
its just a think matting, like van matting, i used pva glue to glue it down and stapled it in place to make sure it doesnt come off at the edges...
got to find some more and do the inside of the box too, just to tidy it up a bit more...

Cool, i'll be waiting for more pics to see how it turns out.
I heard acoustic matting is good to use but i've never tried it.

this stuff basically seems like the same stuff as acoustic matting, its brilliant and makes it look so clean and tidy, going to cover everything, so theres no metal showing on the interior, or as little as possible, just to make it feel more cosy, i use this as my daily drive so want it to be as nice inside as possible, i plan on keeping it for a long time so i may aswel spend the money on it, i plan to put a 1.3 injection in it after a year so my insurance is a bit cheaper then, was going to go with 1.6 mpfi but tax goes up to £225 a year apparently so want to keep it small engined but fuel i njected for better fuel economy and a bit more reliable than carb...
i will post pics when im done tomorrow...
