i've been working to rid the car of rust, so have been busy with the wire brush, krust, and red oxide. before the really horrendous weather kicked in i managed to get some of the worst of the rust on the back end dealt with and also done the tank guard which came out really well, i finished it off with halfords truck bed paint i was a bit skeptical about it and to be honest i was really impressed, i'm probably gonna use it in the the car in the foot wells and the back of the truck once i have removed the rust and welded in good metal around the old seat belt mounts. i am gonna be buying a 3 inch body lift from b4v in the near future and whilst fitting that i will go through the hole chassis and under the body and do the same with any rust i find. tis all fun

Cheers donkey chomp, I am gonna drop the fuel tank out so I can get to the back of the crossmember and clean up the tank. I have a list the length of my arm of thing I wanna do under the car but can't take it off the road for long enough to do it all at once'
