it does a little, but can easily be shifted to where you like it and it has a little more travel.

also make sure you brace the body while it is on the chassis, then take it off for the welding. this is to make sure the body will be straight and will line up with the chassis again, as you can bend or buckle it very easily now with all the holes cut in it

Yea worked that out but if it buckles it's not really a issue as it's a off roader only

thought i would post some pics of my new floor and wheel arches. I am a little happier now have mostly finished the drivers side just need a little more grinding and then thats sides reasdy for bog and paint now to start the other side.

Please ignore the terrible welding i am still learning having the loan of a decent welder has made a big difference though

As you can tell I will be completely remaking and mounting the accelerator pedal due to me taking so much out.

What do you guys use for the rubber on your mud guards?

you can pretty much use anything, but most hardware store's should be able to get you rubber strip, just use some 50*6mm or 75*6mm strip, and bolt it on your steel arch extension using stainless steel bolt's and penny washers

I will go into mitre10 or bindings and have a look. Half the zook looks good half is still a rust bucket. Have had to make new body mounts too. To be honest another body would have been faster. But hey I needed to learn so.

Also if anyone in my needs parts I will have a fair amount left over. Wiring harness combination switch heater etc. maybe even speedo. Who needs one off road lol

Mine could've been done faster and cheaper by buying a better zuk. But half the fun is driving around in a vehicle you've restored to the road yourself.

Took me a while to get mine through it's MOT, but when I did - I smiled like the proverbial cat from Cheshire. It's just worth it. It really is.
