I prefer the single round spot lights myself, I'd only use a light bar on the roof if height was an issue. I just think they suit the age of the car better, more in keeping with it's original round headlights.

Good point. I might end up putting one on the roof any way, ive got spots to go on but to get it in the garage they have to come off. Cheers

so what u guys think, its beefier than i intended, but didn't want to cut the body for the winch to fit, as i wanted it to be a purly bolt on off affair, and its some thing to stand on lol

It's pretty big but its the price to pay for not cutting the grill.(which I also prefer)

Look well built and thought out.

Is it tied into the body mounts or just the the front of the chassis. If not you might find it pulls forward easily.

i did this when i had it as a bare chassis, there are tie bars going back, same underneath, without going ott i decided that would be strong enough, got the bumper that bolts on all the way along, then made some L brackets to hook and bolt round the front going back to the holes in the end of the chassis rails. i wish i plated it all up at the time. but hey, we shall see, think it will be fine tho.

That looks pretty good.

If it starts to twist forward its easy to add a couple of little top tabs to tie into the body mounts but doubt you will need it.

Will have to see how it goes, will have to try it and see what it does. been looking at it again today, not sure if making the ends a bit norrower which will make the angle of the side parts a bit more acute will look better. Can't make my mind up, just looks a bit to much ?
