It's only when you are sat still with the engine running that you need to worry about the engine getting hot if you have no fan, as long as you are driving along at 20-30mph there will be plenty of airflow through the rad for cooling so just watch the temp gauge and turn the engien off when stationary ;) not that it matters now but for future reference.
Fairly sure it will cook itself when driving Scott. Not so much a fan / cool air issue more a no water pump issue.

Short journey would be fine but i wouldn't be running it very far or for very long.
Me having a blonde moment forgetting the alt belt also drives the water pump

hows yours been driving mate? ive driven to and from ruthin in wales which is 40 miles each way, the zuk done it fine, there was a big hill on the way there and the engine got very warm but was okay, im actually surprised how well shes doing! just the idiots on the road nowadays, have a woman cut a corner coming towards me and nearly ripped her door off with my bullbar, had a white van man up my arse, he didnt like me slowing down, i was doing 45mph down the m53 to wales and a wagon come up behind me and was right up my arse so i let off the throttle so the zuk slowed a little and he started flashing his lights at me, the mrs didnt like it at all but hey ho, he shouldnt be ridint my arse..., on the way to hospital yesterday i got cut up by some idiot overtaking me on a roundabout, almost planted my bullbar into his door cause he was that close..

keep safe mate, never know what idiot you might come accross on the roads...

on a brighter note, i like the look of your battery clamp, need to make one up for mine..

Once my sj is warm it runs sweet as a nut ye the hills are a bit painfull for my zook I try and avoid the hills if possible
Went out Sunday with a few mates which had a 413 and a 416 and I seen a hill coming up so i speeded up a bit nearly up as close as I can but the 413 speeded on I was a bit surpried

I havnt done any long journeys yet max I have been on 1 day was like 50 miles
Most of the time they give way to me when driving on.the road

ive got a 1.6 8v on the plans for near future... cant wait to be honest, ill be able to do 50 down the motorway with no worries, mine screams when doing 50 so its not ideal, engine wont last long doing that lol...
