Must admit i do like the look of that Disco at the pumps,a very nice motor,is that your everyday Chelsea tractor ??

Yeh man I use it daily, it's been really good so far. I'm under full understanding when it will go wrong it will cost me. Fortune to repair, we work on lots of them at work. But to tow with, wel it's been tow car of the year for years now. I do like it, I just sold a hilux I was using to and from work, just didn't really need it. He's low milage at the moment so might buy somthing to use during the week to and from work and running about to keep the miles down on it. It even got put in mud mode over that weekend, I think it made a difference lol

Want to try and arrange a green lane trip soon if any of you guys are game il need a passenger !

Right so I'm having some charging issues. My front winch sucks all my battery power after about 30 seconds of winching. Bear in mind it has two motors its to be expected that the suzuki alternator can't keep up, it has twin batteries banner unibulls but there not that big 450cca each.

So I've bought two new max 1000cca batteries, lots of people are rating them, il have a total of around 2900cca, now the winch challenging my truck does we are never winching for more than a few minutes.

Do I bolt the batteries on and see how it goes? Or go straight into twin alternators or just one big alternator?

Ripped one of front shock towers out of the chassis on a green lane the other Sunday too !!

I'd probably go for one large alternator, easier to package and fit.

So next few steps with my suzuki is loose some weight, it's got two more much larger batteries on it now numax 1000cca x2 :0

Need to loose the other two batteries I used to run, take the sides back off, just try and loose a bit more weight where I can.

Fit another alternator is also on the to do list

And fit new isolators, think the front ones pretty much had it under heavy winch loading seems to break down under full load.

Spare shafts coming from rob for the back soon too.

It got beaten quite badly on the special stage at that challenge doors don't open to well anymore hahahaha so need to address that
