Thats amazing! My dad used to have one of these! with the petrol engine! Used to love taking it out on a nearby pond when I was a kid! My dad asked me on the run up to Christmas. "Do you fancy a radio controlled boat for Christmas. Have a look at these.........."
So I got the kit, he built it (admittedly I wouldn't have been to as I was about 11 and it was all wood. Lots of work also. He wouldn't put a petrol engine in it though, just slow electric.
