Maybe she got sea sick

I'm sure it'll be ok, was it ran much by the previous owner or had it been sat a long time?

Looking forward to some good pics! Bet your chuffed now you've finally got a LWB after all this time!

hahaha, it was a little rough!

He didn't really use it much, has covered less than 1000 miles in the past couple of years, you reckon that could have something to do with it?

Yeah real stoked thanks, just pretty hacked off that she's died on me! Had to come to work on my scooter this morning, was really looking forward to cruising in the anus

As long as its had antifreeze in it should be ok! what was the water level like when you picked it up? Did you fill it up before you left? It could've just had an air lock causing it to run a bit hot?

so does it not start up now?

water level was fine when I picked it up, pretty sure it hasn't changed at all. No need to put any in as level was fine whole trip.

Not tried starting it up since just after getting off the ferry when it seemed to start fine. Not keen on starting on ferry, but started fine about 5 mins later when I turned it off and back on. Had work early this morning so didn't have time to have a look. Will have a little play when I get home tonight.

Thanks for your help.

Nice Truck mate looking forward to some pictures. Sounds like a spot of sea sickness to me?

Took it round the block last night, took ages to warm up like the thermostat wasn't working properly.

This evening I went outside to try and start her up, tried about 10 times, sounded like starter was engaging but just struggling to turn it over, but still wouldn't go.

Tried again about 15 mins later, started first time, reasonable amount of smoke with a lot of black oily water deposit on the ground below the exhaust.

Need some light and time to have a good look over her, just want to drive it grrr! :er:

Hmmmm that ain't a good sign really

I wouldn't worry too much even if it is the headgasket though matey, they are so easy to do on these! It could be worse! You could have a few weekends worth of welding to do like me! as long as it hasn't badly overheated chances are you'll get away without any warping of the head. All you need is a straight edge and some feeler gauges to check it

Damn, that's not what I wanted to hear! Didnt really do much overheating, so hopefully I'll be alright on the warping side. I'm gonna do a compression test this weekend and go from there.
